The Explosion of the Letter

On a dark, speckled background, turquoise letters burst from a single centre and unfold into a sphere, like a frozen detonation. The calligraphic gesture, usually controlled and measured, becomes pure energy here: this is the very dynamic of the series, where the letter breaks free from the line to occupy space. An emblematic work of the meeting between calligraphy and graffiti.
