In this series, iBnelhaByB transforms Arabic letters into visual material that radiates, orbits and unfolds through space. Circular compositions bring together dense writing, breathing spaces and luminous colour.

Letters intertwine in rings, fragment or escape their trajectories. Contrasts of light, splashes and translucent layers give these structures an almost cosmic depth. The eye moves between the detail of each gesture and the unity of the whole.

Through this dialogue between calligraphic heritage and painterly freedom, the series explores memory, identity and transmission. Each sign becomes both a cultural trace and a tangible movement, inviting viewers to experience writing as much as to read it.

Artistic context

This series forms part of iBnelhaByB’s exploration of the visual possibilities of Arabic lettering. It combines precise calligraphic strokes with free gestures informed by abstraction and the energy of graffiti. The circle provides a structure for experimentation, allowing variations in rhythm, scale and the relationship between material and light while renewing each composition.
