The Breath of Horses

Two Tbourida riders charge at a gallop, rifles raised, at the heart of a large circle of blue calligraphy. The artist conveys the rhythm of the fantasia — the surge of the start, the vibration of the gallop, the poetry of the powder — through ardent colours and expressive gestures. The work unites two Moroccan heritages, equestrian art and the letter, in a single image.
