In the Footsteps of Heritage

In a palette of whites and greys, two riders in traditional dress advance on richly harnessed white horses, framed by a circle of black calligraphy. The chromatic restraint gives the scene a sense of memory, like an image travelling through time. The painting celebrates the passing down of a living heritage: that of the Tbourida.
